in the article titled, “Former West Deptford Township official says talk about missing $4.5 million is “blatant lie,” White further went on to say in the body of the article, ‘I think the insinuation made by Mr. Cimino is a blatant lie,” White said Monday. “I think it’s a lie that’s intentional and made with disregard to the facts.”… “I think the insinuation made by Mr. Cimino is a blatant lie,” White said Monday. “I think it’s a lie that’s intentional and made with disregard to the facts.”…

After reading the response from the Democratic Party Boss Gerry White, it certainly appears that a guilty conscience in regards to the stewardship of West Deptford tax dollars may be on display. Insinuating lies but still having to answer for “Where is the money?” is the typical smoke and mirrors being played by the Party Bosses. The people of West Deptford have seen this act far too often and are seeing right through the gamesmanship being played by bosses who should have answers.

Gerry White states in the article that he does not believe any dollars are missing and as a taxpayer we hope he is correct. But if he is so certain that dollars are not missing, all that is being asked is that the taxpayers are informed as to where the missing dollars are. Gerry since last Thursday those dollars still have not appeared, if you do know where the dollars are please inform the residents of West Deptford. Someone so intimately involved with the $9.945 million loan should have stronger inklings than “he doesn’t believe any funds are missing”. We would assume that you would KNOW that funds are not missing.

township received the funds — they never touched it,” White said, noting the money went directly to the borrowers from River Winds. “The township did not disperse the money, the bank did,” said Steve Weinstein, former redevelopment counsel for the township.”]

Still no answers as to where the money is rather a deflection to the Bank. With no answers, questions such as, if the $4.5 million was never dispersed are the people of West Deptford making an interest payment on almost double the amount borrowed?, are starting to come up in conversation.

Characterizing an unaccounted $4.5 million dollars as a “debacle” by Gerry White is an unfortunate choice of words. Shifting this “debacle” away from the former administration and the Gloucester County Improvement Authority and right into the lap of the Bank is not taking any responsibility for a debacle created with all three parties.

With the audit report coming off the heels of Mr. Cimino’s presentation it is obvious that there are some major concerns and how $4.5 million has not been accounted for is not that difficult to fathom.

Taken from the GCT article – [Weinstein said that a discrepancy was not noticed in his time there and that the money was accounted for.] Mr. Weinstein, well with the money being accounted for on your watch than the question should not be deflected and easy to answer, where is the money?

This is another example of how the Democratic Party Bosses have let their party and residents of West Deptford down the wrong path. How do Donna Syzmborski and Denice DiCarlo continue to be associated with the Democratic Party Bosses who cannot answer a simple question? West Deptford is experiencing the hard facts about how this town has been run by the Democratic Party Bosses, how $130,000,000 of debt has been allowed to come to fruition and how the Democratic Party Bosses and their cronies have benefitted while the taxpayers have been left to pay the bill. The people of West Deptford must continue to challenge the ways of the previous administration, this not political, it is about Right and Wrong and deciding to not stand for the Wrongs which have been placed on the people of West Deptford so that a select few could benefit.
